Our study begins in Daniel 1:1-9, which provides the historical context for Daniel's life and the foundation for how he could live in that culture without making concessions to it. How can believers today lay a similar foundation from God's Word to live in our modern yet similar society? God's Word calls believers to be holy and live apart from the world and warns us of the consequences of compromise through examples from Scripture. This study guide helps explain how society works against holy living and how to fight compromise by living in obedience to God's Word and its principles in order to be useful to God.
