Types of Help:

It is our desire as the church to come alongside you as you navigate the difficulties of life that we all experience. Whether it is a single conversation or ongoing counseling, Grace has many certified biblical counselors ready to meet your needs. The counseling ministry will guide you in getting the help that best suits your situation and lead you towards the ultimate goal of honoring Christ with your life.

Our Beliefs:

  • Biblical change can only happen with a true saving relationship with Jesus Christ, Acts 4:12.
  • The word of God is inerrant and sufficient for all the spiritual needs in matters of godliness, 2 Peter 1:3.
  • The word of God is able bring change even to the deepest of needs, 2 Tim. 3:16-17.
  • As Christians we are called to holiness and obedience, 1 Peter 1:15-16; 1 John 2:3.
  • Because of the fall of man (Gen. 3), he is in need of the word and the work of God, Col. 3:16, John 3:3.

Counseling Classes:

Grace offers counseling classes that anyone can attend. These classes are great for anyone looking to grow in their sanctification and ability to care for others. Topics covering the entire scope of biblical counseling are taught over three separate courses in the Discipleship Counseling series.

Classes are held on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30 pm.

Becoming a Counselor:

Through our Discipleship Counseling Classes, one has the option to becomes a Grace Church Certified Biblical Counselor. Doing this requires a deeper level of study and assignments than simply attending the classes. This process is personally guided by the pastor of counseling at Grace who supervises the student. Certification gives the opportunity to serve in an official capacity at the church.
