Our attitudes, decisions, and behavior are usually directed by two things: external pressure or internal principles. The question is, do we live by biblical principles and convictions or by the pressures of our particular situation? As we continue to study the situation of Daniel's three friends in chapter 3, we'll look at the worldly command, the conspiracy behind the accusations, the coercion to submit, the courage of the faithful, the declared consequences, the Companion in the fiery furnace, and the commendation of the Most High God.
