Holding the Rope

As 2024 draws to a close and we reflect on God’s abundant provision for our ministries overseas, we would like to thank you for your consistent commitment to supporting our missionaries.

Faith Promise Fruit

One of the most significant ways our church supports our missionaries is through Faith Promise. Our church family has so faithfully sent out and supported our missionaries “in a manner worthy of God,” as those who are their “fellow workers for the truth” (3 John 6–8).

Our missionaries are dependent upon those of us who are able to partner with them to meet their ongoing financial needs. While they are generally able to meet expenses with this regular support, there are often unexpected ministry or personal needs that arise, and Faith Promise was created specifically to meet these unanticipated needs.

Over this last year, through your generous Faith Promise giving, our church has been able to assist seven missionaries with exceptional needs. This has allowed them to continue the work to which God has called them, reaching even more people with the gospel. One such need came from Geneva Bible Church and Grace Church missionary John Glass in Switzerland.

John writes:

“One of the biggest hurdles with church-planting in Europe is finding the funds to be able to kick-start the new church. If you have a sizable local mother church who can help you, great. But if not, then what do you do?

That was our case. And that is where, to our utter surprise, Grace Church stepped in and gave us a grant from the Faith Promise Fund to help meet our greatest need—renting a meeting hall in downtown Geneva. On October 27, we broke our attendance record with 48 people present! And our offerings are also growing.

We are also so grateful for the Moorhead and Tetreault families that have joined us in the church-planting endeavor in this unique city. The United Nations and over 470 NGOs are based here. We believe this church can majorly impact many people’s lives from around the world.

So, all we can say to you at Grace Community Church is thank you! Through the Faith Promise Fund you have helped start a new church in downtown Geneva.”

We thank you and praise God for your faithful giving to this critical program and ask that you keep all our missionary families in your prayers during the Christmas season.
