With Vacation Bible School coming up June 23–26, Grace Kids is excited to invite our church family to participate in the Great Commission as we minister to countless families and their children from our church and the surrounding community. We are eager to serve the families who will join us, praying that our message would be clear and that hearts would be receptive to the gospel.
At this year’s VBS, children will discover the beauty of life and growth that God alone graciously provides. Our theme, “God of Light,” highlights one of the glorious ways God reveals Himself to us. From the opening pages of Scripture to its final words, God is consistently shown to be the God of Light.
Throughout the week, children will see that, in God’s perfect plan, the Light has come into the world. At the same time, they will learn the sobering reality that mankind, in sin, rejects the light and chooses darkness. Yet the good news shines even brighter! It is our privilege to teach this to the children and show them that it is Jesus Christ, the Light of the World, who has come to rescue sinners and calls us to walk in His marvelous light. It is our prayer that this week will be filled with joy and gospel truth and that many would come to a saving knowledge of our Lord
As we look ahead to our 11th VBS, we thank God for His continued kindness in growing our VBS year after year. VBS has become one of the most significant outreach events of our church, and we anticipate welcoming over 1,000 children to our campus once again. We would love for our church family to join us in this important work in three ways:
1. Pray — Please pray for the children, their families, and the members of our community who participate in VBS. Pray that the gospel of Jesus Christ would be communicated clearly and that hearts would be receptive to God’s saving truth.
2. Volunteer — We are looking for volunteers to help during the week of VBS with set-up, small groups, games, crafts, food, and more—all with the goal of planting seeds for the gospel.
3. Give — If you are unable to volunteer but would still like to assist in the ministry, consider donating financially. VBS is free to all children who attend, and financial gifts help us to continue offering VBS at no cost to families.

Con la Escuela Bíblica de Vacaciones (VBS) a punto de comenzar del 23 al 26 de junio, Grace Kids se complace en invitar a nuestra familia de la iglesia a participar en la gran comisión mientras ministramos a innumerables familias y a sus hijos, tanto de nuestra iglesia como de la comunidad circundante. Estamos ansiosos por servir a las familias que se unirán a nosotros, orando para que nuestro mensaje sea claro y que los corazones sean receptivos al evangelio.
En la Escuela Bíblica de Vacaciones de este año, los niños descubrirán la belleza de la vida y el crecimiento que solo Dios nos proporciona con su gracia. Nuestro tema, «Dios de luz», destaca una de las formas gloriosas en que Dios se nos revela. Desde las primeras páginas de las Escrituras hasta sus últimas palabras, se muestra constantemente que Dios es el Dios de luz.
A lo largo de la semana, los niños verán que, en el plan perfecto de Dios, la Luz ha venido al mundo. Al mismo tiempo, aprenderán la cruda realidad de que la humanidad, en su pecado, rechaza la luz y elige las tinieblas. ¡Sin embargo, las buenas nuevas brillan aún más! Es nuestro privilegio enseñar esto a los niños y mostrarles que es Jesucristo, la Luz del Mundo, quien ha venido a rescatar a los pecadores y nos llama a caminar en Su maravillosa luz. Oramos para que esta semana esté llena de alegría y de la verdad del Evangelio, y para que muchos lleguen al conocimiento salvador de nuestro Señor.
Mientras miramos hacia nuestra 11.ª VBS, damos gracias a Dios por su continua bondad al hacer crecer nuestra VBS año tras año. La VBS se ha convertido en uno de los eventos de evangelización más importantes de nuestra iglesia, y esperamos dar la bienvenida a más de 1,000 niños a nuestro campus una vez más. Nos encantaría que nuestra familia de la iglesia se uniera a nosotros en esta importante labor de tres maneras:
1. Orar: Por favor, oren por los niños, sus familias y los miembros de nuestra comunidad que participan en la VBS. Oren para que el evangelio de Jesucristo se transmita con claridad y para que los corazones sean receptivos a la verdad salvadora de Dios.
2. Ser voluntario: Buscamos voluntarios que ayuden durante la semana de la VBS con la preparación, los grupos pequeños, los juegos, las manualidades, la comida y más, todo con el objetivo de sembrar las semillas del evangelio.
3. Donaciones: si no puede ser voluntario pero aún así desea colaborar con el ministerio, considere hacer una donación económica. La VBS es gratuita para todos los niños que asisten, y las donaciones nos ayudan a seguir ofreciendo la VBS sin coste alguno para las familias.
