The Life and Ministry of John MacArthur

“Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
Hebrews 13:7–8

As SHEPHERDS CONFERENCE approaches, we are eager to welcome four thousand pastors and church leaders from around the world to our church campus this week.

This year’s conference aims to celebrate Pastor John’s life and legacy with friends and ministry partners from all over the world, and at the same time to continue the mission of challenging and encouraging these men by exploring the convictions and commitments that marked Pastor John’s ministry. As with every Shepherds Conference, these three days will be filled with biblical preaching, heartfelt worship, and meaningful fellowship.

You play a vital role in supporting these men. Over 1,000 members of our church family have sacrificially volunteered their time, energy, and resources to serve at this year’s conference. Yet, even if you are not able to serve in this way, you still play a pivotal role in the mission of Grace Church and the Shepherds Conference.

By joining us in prayer, you are supporting the efforts of the volunteers, speakers, and attendees. For this reason, we invite you to visit the Shepherds Conference table on the Patio Sunday morning to pick up a prayer card. Each card lists the names of five attendees. Our goal is to pray for every attendee by name, asking the Lord to bless their time at the conference and trusting that the Word would produce a fruitful harvest in the hearts and lives of these men. It is a great joy to be able to tell these men when they arrive that our church has been praying for them each by name.

Our prayer is that this conference will encourage and equip every attendee—that each message, seminar session, and providential conversation would strengthen them in the truth they love and have been called to proclaim. We encourage you to participate in this exciting endeavor as we lift our voices together to God in prayer.

We invite you to view the conference’s general sessions via livestream at shepherdsconference.org.

To best serve our guests, the campus will be closed to non-registered attendees throughout the week.
