Serving the Next Generation of Shepherds

All members of Grace Community Church have the privilege and joy of using their spiritual gifts to serve and strengthen the body of Christ. One of the most exciting opportunities to do this is to serve at Shepherds Conference, a ministry that allows our church family to discover, develop, and diligently use the gifts the Lord has granted them. This is a unique opportunity to sacrificially serve, especially those who are on the front lines of pastoral ministry.

“And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.”
— Galatians 6:9–10

Every March, our church unites to host thousands of pastors and leaders from around the world for Shepherds Conference. Together, we have the privilege of expressing our gratitude to Christ and to His under-shepherds through humble, tireless, and joyful service. Whether it’s greeting guests, preparing meals, assist- ing with campus needs, or serving behind the scenes, every act of service helps refresh and encourage those who labor faithfully in the Word.

The theme for Shepherds Conference 2027 is “The Pastor: His Character, Convictions, and Calling.” The conference is designed to encourage pastors and church leaders in personal holiness, sound doctrine, and ministry faithfulness. Our guests will hear from men who have remained steadfast in proclaiming the Word of God—men whose lives and ministries will challenge, refresh, and encourage these leaders as they shepherd Christ’s church for the glory of God.

As volunteers, we have a special opportunity to honor the Lord by caring for those who shepherd His flock. Every meal served, every guest welcomed, and every task completed is an act of worship that magnifies Christ and supports His work throughout the world.

“As each one has received a gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
1 Peter 4:10
